New Braces {Snoqualmie Dentist Staff Braces}

Hi. My name is Tanya and I am Dr. Calderwood’s dental assistant. I recently had a consult with Dr. Kirby Nelson about straightening my teeth. He has been seeing my oldest daughter for 6 years and I love the way that their staff takes such good care of her. Last week, after 3 years of treatment, they took off my daughter’s braces. At the same time, they were putting mine on! For me, we went with clear porcelain brackets on the top and metal on the bottom, which you can even hardly see. I get to change the color of my rubber bands every 8 weeks so I let my daughter pick out the first color. She choose red, which is my favorite.

It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I was a little sore at first but a little ibuprofen did the trick. I am expecting to have these on for 2 years and can’t wait to have a beautiful smile like my daughter.

I’ve had a few people ask why I didn’t have Dr. Calderwood do Invisalign here at Snoqualmie Falls Dental. Unfortunately because I have several dental implants, I was not a candidate for that type of treatment. Lucky for me though I was able to continue a great relationship with Dr. Nelson and his staff.
